Glin Rover’s FC are Adam’s of Glin’s, Inver’s Leading Lights Nominees

Shane Adams, our forecourt partner in Glin, nominated Glin Rover’s FC as his community leading lights.  This organization will soon be celebrating their 50th Anniversary , having been established in 1968 and have a long history of volunteerism in the club and the community.

Conor O’Shea and Tommy Wallace and young members from Glin Rover FC joined Shane Adams and Ben Lenihan from Inver on the forecourt to present the €1,000 cheque.  Tommy explained the club have their own pitch but would be utilizing the sponsorship towards the development of a new astro turf pitch and a new training area with a long jump area.

Thank you to Shane Adams of Inver Adams of Glin for the nomination of this great and historical club and we wish them every success in their fundraising and celebration of their 50th anniversary.
